Windows 8.1 update lea
Microsoft is due to release an update to Windows 8.1 in March this year but reports are claiming that the update, which makes changes to the Windows 8 tile interface, has leaked ahead of schedule to various file-sharing websites.
Chances are that the leaked update isn't final and nor are the changes that it makes. The update adds in a new title bar for Windows 8 apps, context menus for the Live Tiles screen and a search and shutdown option has been added to the same area.
There have been changes made to the Windows desktop and the company also looks to be adding a new Control Panel option that will allows users easier access to the system settings.
Again though, there's no indication that this update is the same as the final one that is expected to land on 11 March, just before the company's Build conference. But at least we have some idea what we're going to be getting into.
