There is a new smartphone in Samsung’s Galaxy stable and it has sort of snuck up on us. The South Korean company has released a device called the Galaxy Grand Neo, a 5-inch smartphone that is related to the Galaxy Grand 2.
The smartphone features a quad-core 1.2GHz processor with 8GB of internal storage with the option to expand that with an external card. The 5-inch display has a screen resolution of 800 x 480, making it one of the lower-spec phones in the Galaxy lineup, and it ships with a 5MP rear camera and a 2100mAh battery.
The Galaxy Grand Neo is on sale now in the Netherlands but, while there’s no indication that South Africa or any other African country will be getting it, the specs suggest that it would do well in this country. At the correct price point, of course.
