Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 both launched with Android 4.2.2 as a standard operating system. Unfortunately there seems to be a slight piece missing from the OS.
The good news is that the missing part, multi-user functionality, is set to be making its way to both devices courtesy of a software update. Website SamMobile has seen screenshots of a test firmware for both the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and 10.1 which indicates that multiple users will soon be supported on both tablets.
The bad news? There’s no timeline for when the update will be making its appearance at the moment, nor is there any indication whether additional features will be added to Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 pair.
