Samsung has introduced a new lineup of Pro tablets at this year’s CES event in Las Vegas, with two notable tablets being the new Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2-inch and Galaxy Note Pro 12.2-inch devices.
The Galaxy Note Pro will feature a 12.2-inch, 2560 x 1600 display, with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor and 3GB of system memory filling out the specs. The Note Pro will feature 16GB or 32GB options for storage, an 8MP rear camera, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 9500mAh battery.
The Note Pro will have an LTE version, which will have the Snapdragon 800 processor, while the 3G-only version will have an Exynos 5 Octa processor at its heart.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2-inch device will feature very similar specifications, with a slightly smaller battery being the main difference. The Galaxy Tab Pro line-up will feature a 10.1-inch device as well as an 8-inch version, with the same display, processor and operating system mentioned above but both will have 2GB of system memory and lower-spec batteries when they launch.
Samsung is expected to launch the newly-announced tablets some time in the next few months but no firm date or pricing has been announced.
